Evangel Hospital Information

Evangel Hospital is located in Argyle Street, Kowloon City, which is a self-financing, non-profit private hospital managed and operated by the Evangelical Free Church of China. The Hospital began as a joint project of the Evangelical Free Church of China and the Evangelical Free Church of America and started services as a medical centre since March 1965. The Hospital was then moved to its existing site with 3-storey building in 1967 and was formally named the Evangel Hospital.

Evangel Hospital is now being a five-story hospital with over 60 beds, providing obstetrics & gynecology, in-patient, general/specialist out-patient services. Hospital also provides allied health services include pharmacy, laboratory, physiotherapy, radiology, etc. Below show the major departments of Evangel Hospital.

Evangel Hospital originated in 1960 , objective is to demonstrate the compassion of God through the provision of holistic care by ministering to serve the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of the whole person. The hospital provides quality health care services in the spirit of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It started providing service at March 1965, becoming the second private hospital in this district after St. Teresa's Hospital.

Chinese Evangelical set up its first Church in October 1888 in Guangzhou, opening branches in Hong Kong since the first church. Since then continue the development of social services, including education, health, community and other areas. The formal establishment of Evangel Hospital in 1965, providing a non-profit medical services.

Evangel Hospital has general/specialist outpatient and inpatient services, as well as acupuncture, cupping, scraping, chiropractic massage. Other services include a woman's health center, skin Laser Center, endoscopy centers and dental services. It also has a clinic in the Sha Tin, Ngau Tau Kok, Cheung Sha Wan, To Kwa Wan and Shau Kei Wan.

In the future, Evangel Hospital is planning to build a new building to cope with rising medical needs, present site in Argyle Street may be retained as outpatient service after reconstruction.

For City University, Polytechnic University and Baptist University, we offer graduation ceremony day on-site gift delivery to friend or family of graduate, right outside the ceremony hall 30 minutes before ceremony begins. For other campuses, we offer the same on-site delivery for 5 flower bouquets (or graduation teddy/balloon bunch) or more purchase. We also offer free pickup at Mongkok or Prince Edwards from 9am. In addition, about 70% of our clients also choose for us to deliver to their homes/offices the afternoon before the ceremony, and bring to the ceremony next morning at anytime (our bouquets are made fresh, with internal water pouch structure, and can keep the bouquet at great condition for days, definitely would be in top condition for next day usage ).
