Queen Elizabeth Stadium located on Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, which is a large-scale indoor stadium managed by Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). The main facility of Stadium is the Arena on 3/F, equipped with world class lighting and scoring system. Arena can be used for major competitions or sports events, and usually hired for cultural performances, including entertainment programmes, concerts or ceremonies. Besides the Arena, Stadium also offers leisure facilities include badminton courts, squash courts and table-tennis courts.

Opened in 1980, Queen Elizabeth Stadium has a Arena with 2,900 fixed audience seats and maximum 600 movable seats. The 1,500 square feet stage can provide central-stage design, which is relatively rare in 1980s. Also offering comprehensive stage equipment, reception room and several changing rooms, Stadium became the largest venue in Hong Kong at that time, many pop-stars had hold their concerts here. After the opening of Hung Hom Hong Kong Coliseum, which can accommodate over ten thousand guests, the importance of Queen Elizabeth Stadium was reduced. However, it is still a important venue in local entertainment industry today.

More about Queen Elizabeth Stadium
Queen Elizabeth Stadium opened on 27 August 1980 by the Governor MacLehose. Stadium was managed by Urban Council in early days (Became Provisional Urban Council after the Return), and managed by Leisure and Cultural Service Department since the reorganization of government in 2000. Queen Elizabeth Stadium was the largest venue in HK before the open of Hong Kong Coliseum, and still is one of the most important arena in HK.
Besides, Stadium also has 2 large function rooms, 4 committee rooms, a multi-purpose hall and a serious of leisure facilities, providing rehearsal and sport venues for citizens and groups.
